This is going to be wonderful.
Pandolfo is a superb player, the Bach sonatas are masterpieces of the genre, and Abel is a an unjustly neglected composer.
I can't wait!

I only heard the Bach D Major - very robust, - he seemed to be "digging in" more like a cello. Which is strange because Nathalie Klein played them on R3 last Friday, and she was trying to make the cello sound more like a gamba, quite successfully I thought. Maybe Paolo was getting no help from the Wigmore acoustics.
