Certainly a discovery to me - an excellent programme. Listening to it now. This follows an airing of Ibrahim Ferrer on CD, while we had our meal - seems rather appropriate.

The music sounded good, some of it lovely, and not at all as I had imagined it might be. Some of it sounded distinctly Mozartian. Definitely worth listening to or listening to again, though don't expect it so have any hints of being a precursor to 20th Century Cuban popular music.
