    Vivaldi premiere

The newly-discovered earliest known work by Italian baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi is being premiered at a concert on Monday in Florence, at the city's renowned Uffizi art museum.

No mention of when, if ever, this will be broadcast on Radio 3.

Many thanks for the link. Vivaldi does pop up in odd places, doesn’t he? We could hope that Music Matter may pick it up. Come to that, how about Saturday Lunchtime Concert? The programme has been broadcasting some excellent concerts. Let’s hope we will get to hear it.

I think these artists record for Naive and CPO....maybe we have to wait for the disc to come out.

Found among Marquess of Lothian family papers, score part of lost quartet and may not have been heard in 250 years
