The World at One was tedious, obsessed mainly by the Tory Party Conference and the peccadilloes of one such Tory. But then, right at the end (43 mins 30 sec in) we got, apropos of nothing, a piece of choral music (Almeida Ensemble?) with the English Cornetts and Sackbutts playing a piece of 500-year-old-music from the bowels of the British Library.
Maybe a quite simple piece, but how amazing.
Does anyone know more about it?
