Sad news. He had such an unusually characterful face, and seems to have been an interesting person as well as a fine actor. I was never particularly keen on Only Fools and Horses, though I did watch it quite often, and enjoyed his character, Trigger. I liked him as Owen in The Vicar of Dibley, and like most good comic actors he has done serious roles as well. -
