Thoughts of mangerton writ small:Looks for suitable singing icon...... fails to find one. We'll need to get some musical icons. At work - no time to look now.

Am watching Guilty - too much ersatz Broadchurch.
Didn't watch The Pesky Blighters - seems to have good reviews? Somehow gangsters with a Birmingham accent doesn't seem right - guess it was written for the American market, what with the Irish Fenian elements and a US actor starring?
What Remains. Dunno We shall see tomorrow.

On the other hand, the past couple of episodes of Vera were very well plotted and performed, with good characterization (the pathologist setting Vera's ringtone to We'll meet again on his mobile 'phone, and then later we saw him slumped in depression, left on his own).
And the new batch of New Tricks is a vast improvement on a series that had become formulaic - James Bolam's criticisms when he left seem to have struck a chord with the writers.Numquam Satis!
