The Returned (Les Revenants), Channel 4, Sunday evenings
Oh Good, that's two of us pushing up the Channel 4 ratings!
(Shame we have to endure the adverts)
And I make three. I am hooked on Les Revenants, can't wait to see how it will all pan out. I don't have a problem with the ads as I record it and watch the next day.
New series of Top Gear starts tonight as well! Things are looking up!!!
Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.
Sorry, so looking forward to this (probably in a minority of one) but I am loving it.
Me too - of course, silly!

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
The 4OD replay facility makes it impossible to skip the flippin' ads... so I was pleased to see that there's a repeat on Monday evenings on the "4seven" channel, 11.05pm...

Spooky! Just sing a little song in your head if that happens again! .........
I thought the last episode was great, bringing pieces of the jigsaw together, Pierre - why is Michael indebted to him? How will Victor deal with the information he's just learnt?
Not saying more in case those following have not yet viewed, (what will be found in the Dam?) but I still think it's gripping. However, I see that Series 2 has started filming so we cannot expect a cut and dried conclusion.

Stopped reading your post half way as I haven't seen it yet - aiming for a 'Returned' double-header this weekend. Except I did watch the first segment to check the "4seven" recording had 'taken'... Switched off when the door to the attic was unlocked... (Presumably she's keeping someone rather more handsome than Mrs Rochester up there...)

Yes, it's Mr Rochester. No, I'll say nowt to spoil your viewing next weekend. You'll enjoy it. Except, I must agree with Anna's comments, and I think we'll find the dammed in the dam.

I understand the song reference now!! just caught up with last week's episode. That moment near the end, in the refuge between Victor and Pierre, is one of the most arresting moments in any drama I've seen recently.... Heart-stopping...

I agree - great! And I have less than a day to wait for the next one
