Haven't seen any of it yet but I'm told it was shot in Liverpool, so I'm thinking of watching with the sound off.

(I'm not sure it's all that flattering to be praised for offering copious examples of unspoilt bomb damage, though.)

If it does so, you surely know where the exit door is? - or would one of those alleged "pseudo-intellectuals" need to point you to it and open it for you?

And yet you just can't stay away, can you Ana?

I should have thought the definition (a definition) of a pseudo-intellectual was someone who enjoyed Poliakoff's oeuvre, unlike just about everyone on this thread who sees it for what it is.

....To have all that budget, airtime (7 episodes) and a decent cast....and yet the writer- director cannot see the wood for the trees....yet cannot make the acting or dialogue or plotting or place in time or context or style plausible....yeah sure I'm being patronising because I'm a working class lad who knows how to goose a goose....squwark!!
