I've just caught up with the end of Borgen. Good stuff. I hope they make more - they left plenty of scope.

I watched it for the first time last night. It was well made and without gimmicks. I regret missing the rest of it.

Series 3 has been made, they started broadcasting it on New Year's Day in Denmark. Likely to be the last series, apparently. It seems that it takes place 2½ years after the election called at the end of series 2, Birgitte having.... but no, I won't spoil it. You can find the premise for season 3 on t'internet if desired....

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I have Netflix on my Apple TV. I've seen the first two episodes of this and am hooked - Spacey is excellent. Netflix also has the original UK series. There's a free month's trial of Netflix if you're interested.

Those last two episodes of Borgen were superb.

The subtitled Euro-drama TV will continue next Saturday with series 4 of Spiral.

Thank you. Yes, I now know this, having just read this before coming here. Something to look forward to.

i must say that the Danish Trio of The Killing, Borgen, and The Bridge have established the only rivalry to The Wire ... that is high praise in these parts ...
