I have a message to ask anyone interested in HS's Troovi Pictures and Paintings to upload [or is it download?] any pics they like to their computer. He is worried that if the site is not used it will be closed soon. He seems to be better today after another op.

OK Sal. Give him my best and tell him how well-behaved we are all being in his absence!
If anyone has the link, could they please repeat it here?
Cheers, S-S!

Some excellent travel pix there - Innsbruck a place I've missed so far.
Tell him to get well soon, and get himself over here, salyIt isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Thanks FF and all. I just spoke 'through' a nurse, but the fact that he is bothered about Troovi is a good sign I think.
One of the few places I really know quite well is Innsbruck. I had a lovely hol there in the early 60s with several visits to Salzburg and other places. Two weeks for the price of a good meal these days.

Sorry to learn of HS's not-so-good health. My very best wishes for a speedy recovery (- looking forward to his posts here, btw)

salymap, If you are in touch with HS, tell him not to worry about his Troovi site. I have added it to my list of sites that are opened every day. The details on the site confirm that it was accessed today. It would take a gap of 30 days of non-access to delete his account. It will still be there when he can return to it.

Curalach I phoned yesterday but never speak to him as there is no portable phone available when I ring. The nurse just asked again about Troovi on his behalf.I too download pix now and then and the site is safe I'm sure I shall get into trouble for starting this thread, he doesn't like a fuss.

There are young whippersnappers getting away with murder all over the place here, and we need Hornspieler's ability to, as my mother's best friend used to say, 'put his foot down with a firm hand!'
All in affectionate jest - get well soon Hornspieler!
