One thing, if a body fell from that height wouldn't the weight and momentum of the body keep on going?
Don't go there. The sight of a head parting company from the rest of the body and blood spurting out could be truly gut wrenching! Put it down to "artistic" licence.

What....a bit like the BBC clothing their primitive men in a recent series 'to guard against the sensitivities of our viewers'.

          Cracking pair of episodes (5 & 6)

Tension (almost unbearable, in one instance) and twists and a cliff-hanging end to #6

I thought the tableaux at the end of #6 were sheer genius, esp. the grinning face of Ussing descending in the lift...

              It's Lund isn't it?

Seriously though, I'm enjoying this series as much as the others - though I still think the first series was the best.

There are quite a few common themes with the first series aren't there... The family struggling to come to terms with the plight of their daughter being one. Difficult to talk about the other two for reasons of potential spoiling....

For the same reason, I won't air my one reservation over the plot line which has developed... For discussion once everyone's up to speed

That's very thoughtful. On my list for watching this evening.

Not so much a "reservation over the plot" as an observation that Mobile Phone signals in Denmark seem to be vastly superior to anything I've encountered.

Not to mention the battery life! No one ever charges their blooming phone

I did notice the point made by someone above - the constant mobile phoning (esp when Lund has two, inc. her hotline to the perp.)

Ahem, still to catch up (decided against last night, tomorow will do) but is the father of Lund's son significant to the plot?

                            No

Or at any rate: not yet.

True...though as they used to say 'Anything can happen in the next half hour'...the first one last night left me fairly breathless, I have to say.

Exactly. I was bloody glad the following one was immediately available! And annoyed not to be able to proceed instantly to Episode 7 thereafter !
