I see that Caliban has studiously ignored this posting ...... perhaps he's already bought it and doesn't want to spoil the surpise!! I actually prefer the burgundy one in Series II to this new one ....

I decided just to let anton get on with his purchase!

(ohh... it was supposed to be a hint to me was it!?!? )

I expect mangerton has already knocked up something in rough Shetland for you anyway...

To be quite honest - who would not welcome a Rough Shetlander in a Shaggy Sweater? I know a lot of us here would, whether batting for Ambridge or Darrington. There is just something about the Scottish accent and men in kilts that is irresistable.

Hugely preferable to a Rough Shetlander in a kilt and a high wind, thank you vindebergerac, you're a marvel

(Got another bottle of Pécharmant on the go this weekend, as well, thanks to you )

Too much great music to listen to rather than waste time watching anything on tv (except football occasionally).

                      All is silence ..............

I have yet to see part 2 but I found the first hour very much up to standard.

I've enjoyed what I've heard & mean to catch up with what I've missed.

                              Top stuff.

BBC and other agencies flounder so much doing this. The editing is so fast / slick, narrative speed excellent. The whole concept is less is more whereas with us, more is not enough.

I am in exactly the same position at the moment, and of exactly the same opinion. Great change of pace for the final 20 mns of Ep. 1 with a shower of clues and plot developments
