This seems to have passed unnoticed, but I caught up this weekend with a new crime drama from the Danish team, "Those Who Kill" (Den som dræber): overlooked, perhaps, because it's on ITV3 and is hidden away on Thursday evenings at 10pm - but repeated Saturdays at 11pm. There are 6 x 2 hour episodes.
The first one was GRIPPING... faster-paced than The Killing and rather more brutal, not in terms of gore but in terms of thriller verging on horror-levels of tension.
Here's some press material about it:
So Episode 2 is this Thursday (rep: Saturday): can't find any evidence of Episode 1 being on the ITVplayer for rewatching.
I recommend it to all fans of dark crime-thriller stories!
(And of course old friends turn up in new roles: Troels Hartmann, the politician from Killing 1, is the police chief, and the serial killer is from the barracks in Killing 2... )
