Sara, Brix, The Rev. & Mrs Smallbone, the verger, the archdeacon and their tiny but loyal congregation - God Bless them every one! (And that goes for all fellow 'AA' addicts).

i am open to correction natch ... in my reading Bilal was feeling got at and guilty for having covered up the traces of the secret mission ... hence 'i was only doing my duty' and may also have felt a wave of unjust persecution coming his way as a Muslim ie being framed for the killlings, even tho obeying the orders of Gen Arild who seems to have got away with it too .... erm ahem i think ....
According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.
I'm glad you posted these - I couldn't work out this bit, either!
Excellent series, though. Like Anna (#60), I didn't see the first series and was drawn to this by so many enthusistic posts about it here ... and everywhere else, really. Nobody seems to have been indifferent let alone hostile to it.

Good though this was, the first series was much better, in my opinion. It was over 20 episodes for starters, so the pace was quite different. I loved the character development. I did miss the Birk Larsen family (the bereaved family of the victim) from FI. Especially Pernille, the mother, whose acting was just superb. The way that silences, glances, and what wasn't said was made to say so much was what drew me in. It reminded me of Scandinavian novels like Out Stealing Horses by Per Petterson and the True Deceiver by Tove Jansson.
Series two focussed far more on plot, which I think was a mistake because plot was actually the least strong point of FI. That said, it's still one of the best things on TV atm, and I'll definitely watch FIII when we finally get it. I understand it airs in September in Denmark, and will be the final series.
The scene which remains fixed in my mind, a great shot and almost the last, is Lund walking down the stairs, with the other police moving aside for her.
ah bliss the apple of me eye gave me the box set of KI and KII for Christmas ....
Lucky you
My dad is about to launch into his Christmas present of KI, having only 'got into' Ms Lund with KII
A propos, Calum and others - you shouldn't miss the Christmas Day "AbFab" which features a surprise visitor....

'Getting into' Miss Lund (in any sense of the word) is no mean feat - none of her colleagues succeeded, and some actually perished in the attempt.
I hope you enjoy 'Endeavour'. Watch out for fleeting appearances by Colin Dexter and John Thaw.
