Absolutely right! And in any case there's no point in rushing to judgement - it's a marathon (or at least a 10,000 metres), not a 100-metre sprint (or dash, if you're American).

I still love it. Even the red sweater is growing on me.

Terrible scheduling, jumper obsessives or not. Who is available at 9pm for two hours? Now, is this just me but do you listen and watch the subtitles to see if you can understand? I thought it might be easy, bearing in mind the invasion of the UK by Danes, Jutes and Angles. Like being a Geordie you can instantly understand Norwegian (it is said) But, helas, Those invading Danes were Germanic it seems! <doh emoticon> But I now know that Fluen is River!

We watch the 2100 episode 'live' and record the 2200, which we watch the following night. I'm not sure we could survive two complete episodes back-to-back! My knowledge of German was quite hepful when watching Wallander, but there seem to be very few similarities between Danish and German.

A little off-topic perhaps, but I am wondering whether any "Killing" viewers have also been watching "Romanzo Criminale" on Sky Arts 1, another top-notch foreign language crime drama? This is somewhat different, loosely based on fact and following the rise of the Banda Della Magia who were one of Italy's most powerful criminal gangs in the 1970s, with links to the Italian Intelligence services and government.

It's completely gripping and the 70s period details are recreated perfectly. Each week I tune in and find myself completely engrossed. It's got another couple of episodes (13 in total) to run and I can't wait to see how it ends- although apparently Season Two is on the way......

Not unlike the Murdoch family business if Tom Watson MP's recent comparison is to be believed, allegedly

OK, well clearly that discussion belongs on another thread, so I'll just respond briefly- since you started it - and then shut up, but I have to say that I thought was a very cheap and fatuous shot by Tom Watson, and quite possibly libellous as well.

And if you wish to carry on that discussion, Amateur, please do so on the relevant thread.

                        Hi all,
Those with a yen for Nordic noir may be interested to learn that the full-length mini-series of Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy is now out on DVD. This is the 9 hour version from which the films were edited down for cinema release. It's very reasonably priced, and I'm looking forward to watching it after The Killing 2 is finished.

I bought today, the jumper. But mid thigh length. It is really cosy; I now have to practise looking miserable and sexually unfullfilled to get a result.

                            I don't need to practise!

So, you get a result no matter what?
