An interesting programme last night (Sunday feature, 9.30pm 5th Dec). I like her architecture, & have felt rather pleased that her first building in the UK was in Scotland - the Maggy Centre at Kirkaldy - with another opening next Spring in Glasgow.
Simon Jenkins was the obligatory sourpuss, challenging the reality of the 'Bilbao effect' - possibly with some justification, but coming just after the section on Glasgow's Riverside museum it came across as an attack on it. However, the old transport museum was popular, & I think that Glaswegians will make the museum their own, just as they do the Kelvingrove.
