    Moving Pictures R4 ....Similar type of programme to Secrets of the Stave but with interactive Google HR image at hand....https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m001dx3z

    This week 2/3 The Flageliation of Christ by Caravaggio....really enjoyed it....

      I listened to the programme this pm and enjoyed it, so thanks eighth for the link. However, I did as suggested and went to the BBC website to get close- up pics on my phone while listening. I'm such a fumbling old twit with mobiles, it rather distracted me. Surely that programme cries out to be on TV?

        I've listened to a few of these programmes - I loved the one about Diego Rivera's Detroit Industry mural. Last week's episode about Manet's 'Bar at the Folies- Bergere' was fascinating.
