Hello Sigolene. HS knows how we feel and I don't think the hundreds of Troovi pics are movable. He may decide to join so that he can comment on this thread but it is very much up to him. He has some new photos now and I know he welcomes comments on the hornspieler email address give on Troovi. Both Chris's and HS's Troovi sites are still where they were of course. Chris can give you the relevant sign on things.

KCII is here and started a thread on guess who? SIBELIUS Symphony no 2.Hope your knee is getting better.best

Thank you saly. I was pondering reading the Sibelius thread but have not because the few threads I do read keep me busy. Pleased KC II is here.

Please stay cautious saly as it is most icy. Is the new roof keeping your heat in ?

      warm wishes,
      sigolene

          Hi Chris,
Good to see this thread back on track. You should use that Prague painting for your Christmas card, it's excellent.

It certainly is excellent Chris. As I enlarged it, it came to life and has joined others of yours in my photo file/picture gallery bws saly

              I hope this is the URL to hornspieler's wonderful Troovi site. He seems to have been everywhere and has photos to prove it. URL is 9TstZcYWGqyV {sorry if it's wrong, sight is bad}

Thanks Curalach. Where did I go wrong? Hornspieler wanted a heads up of his site which has a lot of new pics since the old MBs closed. America is the latest I think.

Glad to help salymap. You had a space between http and : In the arcane world of computing that is enough to fail the connection. I am going to put some of my paintings on Troovi. I thought that I could create a gallery here in my profile, and indeed put two pictures on it, but it has disappeared, so presumably that facility is no longer available. I don't just want to give a link to my website as that could be seen as commercial and it would of course identify me.
I have been waiting since Thursday for DHL to uplift a painting which has to go to N.Ireland for Christmas. It's looking less likely by the day.
                      Best wishes,
                      Iain

Thanks again Curalach. HS's site wouldn't let me look at his 167 [at the moment] pics as it said they could harm my computer yesterday ! I got them back but what little things upset these machines.

I look forward to seeing your pictures later, best wishes, salymap

This seems to be stuck in the snow and ice, so don't forget to look at HS's and Chris's Troovi sites, if you feel like a change from quizzes and music. The pics may change before you have a chance tosee them otherwise.

Progress report on the two main Troovi sites by members. Chris seems to be doing a complicated painting with Fred and Ginger featuring in it. It sounds different and exciting and I look forward to it. Hornspieler is still not very well, I hope he will add to his Troovi pix soon but getting better comes first, as we all know.
I thought others were going to join this free site. Chris Newman is the expert on hand for details at the moment.

That pic of Chris's of the Avon near Salisbury with the fisherman in the foreground is beautiful. The London shower scene is also impressive. In fact. as far as I can see they're all immensely vibrant and skilful. What a talent... !

Yes I agree Simon. I particularly like the wet Trafalgar Square painting which seems to me to have real atmosphere. And he's only been painting seriously for a year or two apparently. Really enjoyable.
