Did anyone hear it on Monday after the prom? it was a 45 minute chat with Lebrecht and rather dissappointing, I was expecting to hear so much about his views and career but the first 25-30 minutes was about the politics of running the Maryinsky and clashes with various politicians . So much more could have been covered in a long interview because Gergiev rarely gives them, this was a wasted opportunity I thought,
