I never watch those Scandi Noirs - they would upset my illusions of the Scandinavian countries as being safe social democratic repositories of sanity, where horrible things never happen!

The predictably complacent response from the BBC (a BBC spokeswoman said: “BBC is home to an unrivalled range of classical music on TV...”) is both depressing and laughable.

But they are so quiet, so searching, so utterly unblam, unbash, and actually confirm that fine methodical, careful way Scandinavia seems to go about sorting nastiness., AND a huge part is quiet co-operation across frontiers.

And, boy, do WE have a few things to learn about THAT!!!

        Plus acting is good!!

It’s not only music though. Science and technology are abysmal on BBC - too difficult for the poor darlings to watch so we get
          “entertainment” shows ad nauseam.

Quite. How galling for the unnamed BBC representative to lie so blatantly regarding the situation the article addressed.

I've often wondered what qualities were required in order to become a Provost Marshal.
