I haven’t seen this, but one thing about the politics of the time, perhaps a side issue, was that Tom Robinson was always one putting his head above the parapet. He deserves a lot of credit for the stands that he took back then, but I don’t think he always gets it, although of course people do remember that one song.
He might not have had the fine punk credentials of the Clash, ( !!) but Up against the Wall and Power in the Darkness were two of the great musical statements of the time.
Things moved so quickly for a couple of years, exhilarating times, even if you weren’t there in person.
