Melvyn and [very good] guests talked about this extraordinary and prolific 19th century French writer. Well ahead of her time in many ways. My only gripe was that they skated over the Chopin/Mallorca thing, with only a couple of references. I got the impression that they were dismissive because she was mainly known in the UK for the Chopin connection, making her seem a lesser light; whereas in fact she influenced many later writers. Definitely worth a listen though.
