And so the box-ticking goes on..................
The series portrayed the Security Services as pretty much an all-white zone but with lots of BME in evidence among the regular coppers.

This probably confused Leave voters, who will have been unsure who the 'baddies' were.....

A scene that was fudged was the arrest (which we didn't see) of Craddock and the organised crime bloke. When the armed response unit turned up, who were they more likely to believe? They'd most likely have shot the bloodstained, gun-toting Budd on her say-so. But, next thing we knew she was in an interview room. Perhaps she'd decided the game was up?

A great bit of acting by Anjili Mohindra playing Nadia - the moment where her mask slipped to reveal pure evil was excellently done.
Yes: I loved that bit! She became a totally different person. :)

No - but then I guess an upbeat ending was inevitable if there was to be a 2nd series. I would have preferred it to end with his request for help. Perhaps the apparently 'happy family finale' was a means of insuring Transatlantic sales? We all know how the Americans HATE a sad ending - remember 'I hate Big Brother'?
If there's a 2nd series, will I watch it? You bet I will!

Indeed ... so the "happy" ending was another unexpected twist.

(We still don't know about her bloke.)

..........or, actually, a heck of a lot more that was littered as bait to get the BBC to make series 2...or 3......or 4....or....

Depends - if you're hoping for a profound, insightful drama you'll be very disappointed. If you don't mind a bit of froth, with plenty of (unintentionally) comedy, and quite a few unexpected plot twists (well - "unexpected" if you haven't been reading this Thread), then I'd give it a go.

The first three episodes are superbly directed and really draw you into the drama. I think it would be churlish to say the whole thing hasn't been very well put together. I'd definitely give it a go.

... as you will gather, some people have enjoyed it quite a lot.

Others think it was a load of tut. I thought it was over-hyped rubbish : my wife thought it was enjoyable tosh.

Can't wait to see how the Gogglebox regulars respond to it.

I've not watched Doctor Who in years and years, though I saw some clips of the last Christmas episode where they seemed to be mocking William Hartnell - that's right, not the First Doctor but the reactionary person William Hartnell was purported to be (and, in fairness, probably was). I thought this was not really on, considering the huge debt the franchise still owes him and the fact that he's not around to defend himself.

Maybe Jed Mercurio's achievement in this series has been to create a character who successfully combines sexiness with right-wing politics and engenders viewer investment to the extent that a lot of people didn't want her to die/expected her to be resurrected. Not an easy feat!
