I can't see any reason why it shouldn't be on the iPlayer. I'm not aware of any recently shown films that haven't subsequently gone into '30-day-catch-up' mode.
(It can be bought/rented for £3.99/£3.49 respectively if you have Amazon Prime).

Yes, it's just appeared on the iPlayer 'on demand'.

I was wondering whether this film was scheduled following the recent edition of Matthew Parris's 'Great Lives' devoted to Raould Amundsen. One of the contributors was Roland Huntford, whose book 'Scott and Amundsen' caused a bit of a furore when first published and formed the basis of the TV series 'The Last Place On Earth'.

Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild : Emma Orbach

            (Channel 5, 2015 - Repeated - 18 August 2018)

Fascinating and, for the viewer at least, calming:

Take a peek into the life of 59 year old Emma, who's been living in an isolated mud hut in a Welsh woodland for 13 years...

I recently watched the first two episodes of Breaking Bad, ten years after the series was premiered.

Though undoubtedly well-made and well-acted, I'm afraid they didn't grab me enough to want to continue watching. So, that's several hours saved! :)

I had exactly that experience. Then a BB devotee while staying here persuaded me to have another try - a further couple of episodes in and the penny dropped, I was hooked. I've seen the complete series twice now. I'd try pressing on, Conchis!

BBC Two - 'Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing', Series 1

Comedians and lifelong friends Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse, both having suffered life threatening heart surgery, share their personal and hilarious life experiences while travelling around the UK fishing for elusive species. They make the backdrop of mainly river fishing both interesting and very funny. Don't be put off by the fishing topic. There are 6 in the series all available on iplayer.
Just watched the 6th episode (Pike) - absolutely brilliant, hilarious. And some wonderful views of the autumnal Rivers Test and Stour and surroundings.

"Pike often lie close in and ambush their prey from the sanctuary of reeds or a little undercut bank. Not for them the hurly-burly of midstream, Bob"

Watched the last of the series of four on the New Forest last night - wonderful characters all, unsullied by today's world: wouldn't have missed it for anything in the world.

                        (This message is SPOILER-FREE!)
The last episode of 'Unforgotten' proved - if proof were needed - that one of its many strengths has been the extraordinary standard of the acting by the entire cast. Very rarely does anybody 'out-act' Nicola Walker in my book, but last night's contributions by James Fleet and in particular Alex Jennings, whose performance was nothing short of sensationally amazing, made for a wonderful, gripping hour of some of the finest TV drama I've ever seen.

Interesting interview with Unforgotten creator Chris Lang here, only to be read when you've watched the final episode.

Thank you - VERY interesting! I'd happily see Nicola Walker and Alex Jennings walk away with BAFTAs (and James Fleet for his supporting role), but in the former case possibly not at the expense of Hugh Grant, a worthy candidate for his astonishing embodiment - more of a recreation than just a portrayal - of Jeremy Thorpe.

A real joy to see Good Morning Boys, 1937, Gainsborough Film romp in the traditions of the Music Hall era with the expert team of Will Hay, Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt creating havoc throughout - an instant transfer to DVD! Delighted to see that Oh Mr Porter, also 1937, with the same team, will be repeated on Talking Pictures TV Channel, (81 on my set) at 925am, tomorrow, 9 Sept, probably the best of their output. Not to be missed.

The Deuce - oh so unpromisingly set in the 1970s New York porn industry, but actual a study of character, friendship, relationships, life histories on and off the street..(Mafia brutality is NOT glossed over..).. is back on Sky Atlantic 11/09... with the screen-magnetising Maggie Gyllenhall and James Franco.
                                Rejoice! Etc...

Anyone else fall in love with this first time out?

(In Sharp Objects (see above) the big reveal was left until - the END CREDITS after the final episode! And yes, I did miss it the first time! Thank god for those incredibly impressive online reviewers.

Sky Atlantic/HBO has given us some wonderful late surprises - remember the (very) end of The Night Of...? ...I couldn't stop laughing and crying afterwards...
