I'm afraid I had to give up on 'Staged', as the use of the 'f word' had become relentless and gratuitous. I'm pleased to see that it doesn't seem to get used on the Forum (or have I just been lucky?)

Also gave up on this. A lot of unnecessary f-ing (and c-ing) in the otherwise rather entertaining historical spoof "The Great".

I just watched a short drama on Sky Arts about the exploits of two teenage lads in the East End. The swear words were about all I managed to understand of the dialogue!

I think it's a great shame that the talents of 2 fine actors became increasingly wasted - it IS possible, you know, to present adult material without the excessive schoolboy use of 'adult' language.

I don't understand why all the swearing's necessary. No acting talent is required. How is it funny? It's also really embarrassing to watch with other people.

We gave up after binge-watching the first three episodes of Staged2.
They should have gone out on a high with the original series, which was brilliantly done and very clever/witty.
Staged2 just seemed too contrived, and certainly not as clever.
IOVHO (O for our) of course!
