... lord no - whatever gave you that impression? (Has Johnson done a parachute jump? - all I recall was his asinine bungled zip-wire stunt)

No - it was Professor Sir David Spiegelhalter (then aged 58) wot done the parachute jump to make his point

Virtually any programme with actress Diane Morgan. She is talented and hilarious or, hilarious and talented:

‘Cunk on Britain’ - BBC Two
              ‘Motherland ’- BBC Two

Starring Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard I also enjoy watching:

              ‘Breeders’ - Sky One

Diane Morgan’s relatively small role in the series AfterLife https://www.netflix.com/gb/title/80998491 was also very funny
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                  Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Well, as just now the woman from upstairs explained, while clinging the leash of their dog as she strained towards me, "She wants to meet you!" "More like make meat of me" I said.

Reminds me of something my father said when we moved to the current house. The downhill next-door neighbours had a very aggressive white German Shepherd which used to throw itself against the chain-wire fence between the gardens, trying to get at us. "He likes some people after a bit", advised the neighbour. "Well, he's not having a bit of me to try", Responded my father.

We did it at school - a "revolutionary" departure from the annual A Level Shakespeare production. Professional orchestra and acting roles for Tony and Maria, but my best mate was Riff from the Jets -one less likely to wield a flick knife you could never imagine; I led the off-stage choir!

I’m not a sports fan, but found this film engaging enough late night viewing. It isn’t very widely available but I can’t see why it deserves to be overlooked. Be aware – its only available on the iPlayer for the next 6 days.

                                “McFarland, USA
Kevin Costner stars as a failed American football coach who helps a team of underdogs.
Sports drama based on a true story about a team of underdogs who chase success with the help of a failed American football coach. Led by Jim White, a group of Latino students with an exceptional talent for long-distance running learn about discipline and a good work ethic as they face adversity together and bid to become cross country champions.”
