I thought the three-hander with Michael Palin was brilliant. Never has a split screen been put to better use!

Agreed - the first series was excellent and this new series is looking just as good after the first two episodes.

PS. I think it's BBC1 actually (though now all episodes are available on iPlayer the distinction is almost redundant).

For my very first post on this thread, I'd like to draw people's attention to the return of comedy 'Back' whose first series in September 2017 on channel 4 was quite good - I've found out that it's back this month, though I haven't found a specific date.

There were several delays for the second series, including Robert Webb's serious heart condition even before the pandemic. But Back is apparently back on Jan 21st...

I found the first two of the new Rick Stein series on Cornwall quite charming. His usual mix of travelogue and cooking. It looks as though they managed to film it last summer between lockdowns.

Once the Beeb get an idea in their head they do it to death. It seems 20% of the programmes at the moment are about Cornwall.
Similarly, there are very few programmes not presented by Sara Pascoe. I'm waiting for her Cornish programme.
