Off to the North with long-suffering hubby at the weekend and will stay in the hills for the duration. It's always a delight with concerts in this most beautiful corner of the world. The Chillingirian playing Beethoven quartets in Ambleside Parish Church will probably be my highlight of the year, but there is also so much more to look forward to. After a long teaching year and two months marking exam papers, this will seem like an oasis of calm. Do go if you can!
