Two really fantastic films about Cuba on Saturday (BBC2) and Sunday (BBC4) evenings. Realistic, surrealistic, comic, poignant, definitely moving, the artistic production of these programmes was about as far removed from the BBC norm as it's possible to be. I can really recommend spending two hours watching them. (I don't know if this was a repeat or first showing.)

I've only seen the first one so far, and I enjoyed the roller coaster style. It was noticeable that Alan Yentob's contribution was confined to a rather muffled and low level voice over introduction. I suspect that the Beeb took over the presentation of the programme provided that Yentob got the producer credit since there were two other producers listed, and they were obviously responsible for its content.
