Having heard an extract from this 30-minute drama and an interview with the brilliant Jon Culshaw, who plays Bowie, I'm really looking forward to hearing this latest offering from the 'In The Studio' series. (BBC World Service at 1130 and 2330 hours, thereafter on the iPlayer).

Already available on the iPlayer, here. THe audio quality is not that great, average bitrate of 97kbps HE-AAC with a sample rate of just 24kHz, i.e. top frequency of 12kHz. Might be worth checking again after the broadcast, just in case they up the quality. When Radio 3 programme initially appear on the iPlayer they are often restricted to 128kbps but are upgraded within less than an hour to 320kbps.
