Wonderful! - Highlight of my Christmas viewing. Actually it was the only thing I watched (apart from La Boheme which featured the most unconvincing garret ever).

As I paid for a ticket for that new production, I can only say it could have been a lot worse (and we would have been stuck with the production for some years). I'm thankful it wasn't, for example set under a 21st century flyover, and who knows once the revival directors get an opportunity they might introduce something sensible like a chaise longue or such like.
