Yes, slow TV is a very Nordic thing at the moment.
I've long been fascinated by the Sami people and their seasonal migrations. They see no national boundaries (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia) and continue their way of life (with the addition of a few motorised sleds, mobile phones, etc)) despite efforts...now in the past...of governments to settle them.

        There's this book:

Search the world's information, including webpages, images, videos and more. Google has many special features to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

Not for the reindeer, I think they were starving

                  The numbers were amazing.

The only thing I have to compare it with is putting out fodder in the New Forest in wintertime and that is just a few beasts.

But to an inexperienced eye they looked hungry rather than starving.
