    This rather unusual film is available on the iplayer, with an excellent performance from Maisie Williams. Well worth a watch.

    No takers? I found it refreshing to see a thoughtful evocative film with a decent script, and not a car chase (or even a car) in sight. It's set around a girls' school in 1969, their teachers and an outbreak of hysterical fainting, finishing with an unsuspected twist.

      It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
