I hadn't appreciated when I wrote #1 that the final adventure in the programme is a 'pastiche' Sherlock Holmes adventure, an original by Mr Coules (inspired by a brief reference in a real Conan Doyle tale, 'The Adventure of the Priory School'), written having led the team that dramatised all of the Holmes canon for the BBC

Have now listened to the interview and, IMVVHO, the excellent adaptation of The Solitary Cyclist .... only 2 days left to take in the pastiche ......
