"BBC-TV sacks classical music department" - Lebrecht
Where do you find these gurnemanz - is it accessible via my Sky dish for example?
Thanks
We have had access to Astra 19 East via satellite for many years. My wife is German and I taught German, so it was very useful. Sky and Freesat use Astra 28 E for which a separate dish is needed. The sound can be fed into the amp and I have also used this setup for listening to radio stations such as BR Klassik, which are more recently, of course, also available via the internet.
The initial outlay is the only cost. The receiver I'm using is excellent and costs about £100, plus a couple of hundred or so for the dish and an engineer to fit it.
