Based on The Observer's TV critic review I was expecting a last-minute surprise, so it was a bit of a let-down or did I miss something? Worth following nonetheless.

In which case his, erm, trouser accident the other week when he was being babysat by Sam Webster certainly gave his performance verisimilitude

But what an actor - Roger Allam is tremendous.

                Absolutely!

Like others, I found the suspension of disbelief pretty easy - we await 8thO's arrival to highlight the gaping holes I missed! and I do agree with johnb, I was nagged by

                Don't worry anton - it's only crucial!

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I was going to suggest anton could read it instead, but only the first 6 scripts are available

....very good last ep'....me thinks Baptiste will drift off under anaethetic thinking 3....3....3....Missing 3....with Julian coming back as a cyborg detective after botched op'....

....Ah yes, my gaping holes.... with me since a lousy education I'm afraid....

....bit interested in the chronology of Slades memory problems....seemed in the end to be so very very rapid after the conversation with the fake girl in garden....all seemed to happen over a very short period of time....elongated or condensed depending which character attached to....spoz the Slade daughters pregnancy may help plot that, and drugged up sons change ....but Julians time line with hair/without hair....Ah it's only tele'....must rest my mind....
