Is anyone else watching this - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b072h7rk
Mostly the actors seem to be speaking Danish, but one or two are speaking something much closer to Swedish. Is the production a joint production with Swedish producers and actors?
Maybe, just as sometimes dialogue is in English, as many people in Sweden and Denmark speak English, it is normal for some dialogue to be in another Scandinavian language. I think that not all Swedish people are able to understand Danish well, and perhaps vice-versa. Some Swedish people I knew said it was often easier to talk in English, being a simpler "lingua franca".
One Guardian reviewer doesn't seem to rate it much - http://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-ra...d-be-assassins - but on the other hand seems to want to carry on watching!
