Yes in a good way - I think.
The Iceland Tourist Board must be tearing their hair out though.

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I don't doubt it for a second! I was thinking of anyone unaware of its charms who has been watching Happy Valley

I don't regard them as being quite Proust or Tolstoy !
I am generally pretty bored by detective series in the UK and they Scandi ones are like a rash- everywhere- and from what I have read of them lots are quite formulaic and more than a little sexist .A high body count of dead pretty young women .

....Didn't watch Series 1 Happy Valley....started watching S2....just too gratuitous, depressing and OTT plotting....too much HIGH action and intensity....needs some LOWER emotions and mirth....Stopped watching third of the way thro' last night....made me feel ill....
....Trapped predictable but good Sat night wallpaper ....new faces....ways....glad he got his starter motor fixed....obviously a red herring (or is it....WILL IT GO WRONG AGAIN....)bong ching
