BalletBoyz on BBC4 tonight (Fri 30th Oct)

    Did anyone watch this:

A behind-the-scenes look at the staging of BalletBoyz's show, Serpent/Fallen.

    Any thoughts?

I half-watched it, but got a bit tired of writhing and twisting bodies, beautiful though they all are. I'm not really very keen on contemporary dance, much preferring ballet proper, so I'm not much use to you, I'm afraid.

The Ballet Boyz were in a programme on BBC Three a couple of years back - dancing to the Rite of Spring, I think. Not intending to be negative (at all) about them being on BBC Four, but I am positive about them being on BBC Three.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

In answer to the OP - a good thing, I feel, but I'm even less use than Mary as I don't like dance at all and it wouldn't be something I would watch. Still, it bumps the thread

I'm inclined to agree, though I did stick with it. I'm not at all knowledgeable about dance, but I felt myself wanting to put myself in the place of the choreographer and to scratch my head thinking what next original thing I could do with arms, legs and torsos.
