Brian Eno - John Peel Lecture on BBC4 (iplayer)

Not sure if this was flagged up elsewhere but I thought this was an interesting lecture on art and many other things:

Brian Eno delivers this year's BBC Music John Peel Lecture on the ecology of culture.

It's available on iplayer for the best part of another 4 weeks.

He exudes a king of faux-insouciance, imv, and I hate those events where one sees audience members inanely grinning (or girning) at the disposal of pearls of wisdom.

I think if you don't like the TV version then you could listen to the radio one:

6 Music presents this annual discussion on music and music-related media.

I just thought there were some interesting ideas there and it was at least thought-provoking.

Eno's a top man. Hope it's still available on iPlayer by the time I get back to the UK. Radio or tv, either way.

"26 days left to watch" for the telly version, so, if you're back before the beginning of November, no problem.

Back early in the morning of 5th of November if the weather stays as glorious, here. If not, I'll return earlier.

The Iggy Pop JPLecture from last year is available on youTube - maybe that BEno's will be, too.
