Did anyone see this? Quite brilliant, IMO. Very droll, but also a poignant insight into mental health. I gather it was formerly a radio programme (which I missed out on). Often transfers to the screen are a bit of a let-down, but that can hardly be the case here.

....One (that is I) wonders though, if any of these cameo characters can extend themselves beyond just a few minutes of exposure....seems unlikely to me....I wonder what is the range of this programme....is it a humourous quick hit of one-liners that go nowhere, or are we supposed to engage more emotionally with it....Will it create stories and back stories....
....the necessary latex work involved leads one to believe that after all the trouble of putting on the makeup, all the filming of that character would happen in one shoot....episodic....bong ching

Yes - the opportunity for character development is perhaps stronger in some characters (the agoraphobic ex-prisoner and the obese son) than in others (I suspect a harrowing bit of family history may be in store in connection with the infuriating Jewish neighbour). More an everyday drama with comic moments than a "hilarious" comedy - well worth watching.Numquam Satis!
