    A New Landscape Painting

Hydroelectric facilities, roads, mines, farms, ports, resource exploration, logging, canals, cities, and towns have altered much of the landscape over the years.

the beauty of these images is spellbinding ...some imho are masterpeices
According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.

Agree Calum - wonderful images! Among others I really loved the golf course, and the Newfoundland piece just made me think 'Shipping News', and there was one from Manitoba (no.8) that I had not a clue about what was going on.

,,, many thanks, Calum - marvellous.

Some of them are like geological specimens.

Been to the Montreal sites and Nanaimo on Vancouver Island where the ferries from Vancouver land for trips to Victoria and the wonderful Butchart gardens. Ah, memories!

... yes, there's a Vasarely / Bridget Riley feel to some of them

Maybe not the first such endeavour but no less worthwhile for all that! I remember seeing the Bertrand pix displayed about big flat screen size in a park in Lyon and I think that display toured England as well.
