I remember Michael Parkinson saying that when some fly by night celebrity did his show in the 80's they had an entourage of 15 people in Rolls-Royces . When Fred Astaire arrived he came in a taxi with his daughter.

For the record, we preferred 'Top Hat' to 'The Red Shoes', although both films are classics.
