But having now read the entire 'inside back page' by the ineffable Alain foisted on an unwary public by Gramophone, I thought it deserved a thread of its own.
It's a pretty toe-curling read from start to finish, but even worse than the above quote, this made me shout:
"Listening to CDs in cars is for me the very best way to take in music. While obeying all traffic regulations, I love the ability to press the accelerator in line with certain movements, and to brake likewise."
I'm struggling to find the adjectives to deal with that, especially the little clarification of his law-abiding attention to detail.
