Thought this one was definitely worth a mention and recommendation. It's a straightforward and relatively undemanding listen, but I won't go into details to save revealing the excellent plot.

It felt very edited to me: what seemed to have been cut was any serious attention / reactions etc to the murky event of the supposed govt / MI5 manipulation/ influencing of public opinion via a duped top journo. Just disappeared. Very odd. Liked the Rachel actor. Allam just a teeny tad hammy for my money. Nice voice but.... -
I liked it. Not troubled by R.A. chewing up the scenery, so to speak. I did find it somewhat implausible that a hard-boiled journo would not have checked his source more carefully, but overall I found it worth listening to and even moving at times.Last edited by Guest; 15-11-11, 04:51.Comment
