Othello OK, Emilia excellent, Cassio OK. Iago? Under played for my taste.
But for me, the Othello of the start just did not sound like a serious military player, which made the fall into over-imaginative self-deceiving, mental and emotional misery less of a horrific crash, more like a pretty anticipated slide.
