As a four-part series, this is on a larger scale than most Sunday Features. I've only heard the first part so far (no longer available on Listen Again) and found it very interesting so I'm looking forward to the rest.
I didn't hear the first part but presume it was looking at the Civil War from a cultural (i.e. not purely historical) perspective. I'll try and catch the next part. As a counterweight there's also the new 50-part series on Russia which started yesterday on R4:
