Heh, heh. It wasn't quite the 1st April http://www.for3.org/forums/showthrea...765#post479765

It seems I thought the Davey contribution was okay, less so Naughtie's. What does he listen to?
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Page of Q and A with him in today's Radio Times.

Doesn't give much away, except that he likes CDR and In Tune.

Must check - though my (I realise) ambiguous question referred to Mr Naughtie … ? ?

I included no quote, meaning my 'him' referred to the subject of the thread (I thought ).

This is the Radio Times Q&A http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2015-...your-questions

Interesting questions - absolutely reflecting the concerns of the dissidents. He is pretty cagey (wise man), but what we experience is not in keeping with what he says he wants. We should look for changes after the Proms - that's when major schedule changes often come.

He is cagey but not overly defensive, which, I think is a good sign. But no, we are not seeing too many changes yet, and this, although AD sounds proud, still looks more personality/celebrity orientated rather than experts’ contributions.

                The Classical Voice this summer

Still, I am more hopeful than disappointed, so far.
