if there are others here we might occasionally discuss such excellent pieces as Michael Wood on an the poems of Octavio Paz; John Lanchester [again!] dissecting the venality of the banks or David Bromwich's clear and cool account of Eric Snowden as a true hero .....

I subscribed for several years Calum and enjoyed it hugely. When I stopped being able to concentrate as a result of an extended bout ofbad depression, I found it impossible and cancelled my sub.

I think it's time to start again - once I've heard from ATOS, of course

(I have to confess to never having been a reader because they kept sending me requests to subscribe rather on the lines of everyone who's anyone reads LRB e.g. ...... and that seemed to exclude me )
