it is a Conservative neo liberal small state game being played IDS's latest claim of 1,000,000 scroungers does not hold

According to the data, we appear to be a nation of law-abiding long-term welfare recipients in need of help
in recent months Portillo has enraged me by his flat bullying assertion that a non austerity policy entails more borrowing that we cannot afford; well so does the impact of the plan A austerity, the reduced tax take from a stagnant economy forcing more loans and funny money by HM Treasury

the scroungers and borrowing lies must be nailed .... they are generally believed; it is not the Government that appals me but the lack of any credible alternative we do not need nulab policy triangulations and spinning, in fact we do not need growth .... we need a realisable plan for economic regeneration that favours children, women and the regions not London Fat Cats and their Cronies; it must also transform our energy supply and utilisation as a nation .... no small undertaking huh?

Sorry SA, it's working OK me if I click the link in my posting. It should take you to an article called 'The age of austerity is over. Why? Because it doesn't work' and the reference to the dodgy paper is in para 9.

a job may not be enough, that is why so many welfare recipients are working poor Mr O

Well indeed I have been shouting out at the radio and tele for the last 18months ....."Yes, but what about all the part-time workers etc etc" every time they say 'jobs rise' ....with almost the monotomy of the tories shouting "We inherited a terrible muddle from Labour"....

....JOBS RISE, JOBS RISE, it's more than me JOBS RISE

Blimey there'll be a national discussion about the ownership of the means of production soon if Mr Blanchflower carries on like this

What will Dave, Gideon, Nick ... and Ed do then?

Being told by the IMF to go easy on austerity is like being told by the Spanish Inquisition to be more tolerant of heretics.
